We’re a mother–daughter duo, Renee & Bee, brought together by a lifelong love for animals and a shared passion for creativity. Over the years, our home has welcomed feral cats, Yorkies, Chows, and now our beloved Maltipoo, Bibi. Each pet has added its own story to our lives, and every one has deepened our commitment to caring for animals and celebrating the joy they bring.
Nearly 20 years ago, Renee first dreamed up Pupparatzi, creating custom pup fashions and playful art tees with a seamstress in India. Her first “PUP-UP” event at Leopard Lounge in Houston was ahead of its time—before social media and online businesses took off—but the idea never left her heart.
Now, Pupparatzi is back, reborn as a family project. Today Bee handcrafts accessories, outfits, and collars for Bibi, while Renee brings her background in luxury retail and sales to grow the brand. Together, we’ve blended our worlds into something stylish, heartfelt, and fun.
At the center of it all is Bibi, our nine-year-old cowgirl debutante Maltipoo. She’s more than our pet—she’s our muse, our joy, and the heart of Pupparatzi. As we relaunch, Bibi is stepping into her role as a pet influencer, sharing her charm and style while helping us shine a light on causes we care about.
Supporting local nonprofits and giving back to animal charities is part of our mission. Pupparatzi is more than just fashion for pups and their people—it’s a celebration of love, community, and the magic that happens when passion comes full circle.
About Bibi
Meet Bibi, our charming nine-year-old Maltipoo star, born on April 20th. Adopted just before the COVID era, she was a delightful Craigslist find who instantly stole our hearts. Her name is inspired by Habibi (حَبيبِي), an Arabic term of endearment meaning “my love” or “my darling.” My grandmother, whom we adored, was part Lebanese, so naming her Habibi—shortened to Bibi—was a way to honor her roots while embracing our Texas upbringing. With her sweet cowgirl debutante flair, she’s more than just a pretty pup—she’s family.
It was a full-circle moment: the perfect name, the perfect timing, and a reflection of Bibi’s loving personality. Her story aligned beautifully with the relaunch of our Pupparatzi brand. Today, Bibi isn’t just our pup—she’s our muse, our joy, and the true heart of Pupparatzi.
Personality & Style: Bibi is a natural in front of the camera, thanks to her smart, well-mannered nature and love for dressing up in the custom outfits my mom designs. Each piece is a little nod to our Pupparatzi brand origins from over 15 years ago. We’re relaunching Pupparatzi with Bibi as our muse and star, starting with small accessories and big personality! She adores visiting her favorite spots in the River Oaks District—especially dining at Toulouse and Bari—and loves meeting new people, children, and other pets. She’s the ultimate social butterfly with a paw-sitive attitude!
Collaboration & Sponsorship: We’re excited to partner with brands that share our love for pet fashion, creativity, and a touch of Southern charm. We’re also passionate about giving back, and we plan to support nonprofits by donating a percentage of our merch proceeds to local charities.
